What is edging?
Edging is a form of orgasm control technique and teasing I which you stop RIGHT BEFORE climax, just when you're on the edge of an orgasm. You can do it alone or with partner(s). Edging is not specific to any gender, gender identity or sexual orientation.
Why?
Edging delays orgasm, making sex last longer and may make the orgasm more intense. It also allows more time for your partner to orgasm if they take longer than you. Edging also allows you or your partner to get to know your body and orgasms better.
How?
When you're on that edge of orgasm, stop and then you start stimulating yourself or your partner again, and you can get to that edge again and again until you’re ready to orgasm.
Some techniques include the stop/start method, the squeeze method, slow and gentle and ballooning.
Stop/start method - As you're on the edge, you stop for about 30 seconds or so to allow yourself or your partner to get back to a plateau and then stimulate again. This can be repeated as little or as many times as wanted until the person is ready to orgasm.
Squeeze method - This method is for penis owners. When you're about to orgasm, using your fingers to squeeze the penis where the head joins the shaft. You squeeze until the urge to ejaculate passes and then start stimulating again until you're ready to orgasm.
Slow it down - If you're going hard and fast and are about to reach orgasm, use a slower and gentler touch to lower the stimulation. Once your urge to ejaculate goes away, go back to going hard and fast.
Ballooning - With this technique, you do not stroke the whole penis. Find the most sensitive part of the penis, using two fingers you circle and massage that spot until the penis is erect. Keep massaging until close to orgasm, once you're close to ejaculation, stop. Allow the penis to get flaccid, or deflated if you will, and then start the technique again to inflate the balloon/get erect, again to the point of orgasm until you're ready to ejaculate. For this technique, you can also do reverse Kegels to add intensity. Kegels is squeezing the muscle as if you try to stop your pee stream and reverse Kegels are as if you want to urinate faster and push the pee out. Doing reverse Kegels may help with the inflation of the balloon.
Happy edging to you and your partner(s) ;)
